Privacy at Cali

Cali organizes startup events. This policy explains what information the website and mobile App use to make that work.

Information you give Cali

This can include the email, phone number, company, event type, budget, and ideal customer profile you enter during quick signup, Google account details when you choose Google sign-in, event details, guest lists you choose to import, venue or creator profile information, outreach approvals, and messages you send to Cali.

Information created while you use Cali

Cali stores the events, shortlists, tasks, offers, partner requests, attendee notes, and other workspace records needed to provide the service. The App may also register a device push token and basic App version and platform information so it can deliver notifications. The website records privacy-limited usage analytics such as an anonymous visitor ID, pages viewed, referral source, approximate country, device type, browser, and visit time. Cali does not store visitor IP addresses in its analytics table.

How Cali uses information

Cali uses information to authenticate you, operate your event workspace, import event information you request, find and contact venues or partners with your approval, process transactions, prevent misuse, support users, understand website traffic, and improve reliability.

Services that help Cali operate

Cali uses service providers for hosting and storage, optional Google sign-in and venue discovery, Luma or Partiful imports, messaging and voice, browser automation, push delivery, and payments. Stripe and PayPal process payment information under their own privacy terms; Cali does not store complete payment card numbers.

If a host elects to use optional verified-work-email enrichment, Cali sends only the public professional-profile URL selected by that host to Cali's configured enrichment provider. Cali does not send personal email addresses or phone numbers for enrichment, and it does not add a returned address to an invitation list automatically.

Sharing, retention, and security

Cali does not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed to provide the service, complete an action you request, comply with law, or protect Cali and its users. Cali keeps information for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and uses access controls and encrypted connections to protect it.

Your choices

You can sign out, decline push notifications in device settings, and ask Cali to access, correct, or delete your account information. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, or transaction purposes.
